How to Unlock Bootloader Motorola Xoom.
Motorola’s Xoom first Android Tablet is using technology owned Google
Android 3.0 Honeycomb. Lots of customization available in the forum to
improve the performance of the tablet it self, to get the performance
you need to unlock the bootloader so that the mod can be done without
any restrictions. This is a tutorial:
- Download the Android SDK Once it has downloaded
- Download and install the Motorola USB drivers.
- Unlocking your bootloader will factory reset the device, backup anything you want to keep before advancing.
- You must Fully Charge on your device
- Power off your device.
- While holding the volume down button, press the power button for about 1 second and release the power button. The device will power-up and display AP Fastboot Flash Mode. At this point you can release the volume down button.
- You must sure the drivers are installed correctly
- type:
adb devices
Next, type:
adb reboot bootloader
Once the device turns off and boots into the bootloader, type:
fastboot oem unlock
Follow the on screen directions on your Motorola XOOM.
Congratulations, Now your bootloader will be unlocked.
